Sewing is a stressbuster, therapy, life balancer, and a blessing for me. I got some stressful news last week. It's not terrible news but it is life changing and I needed to wrap my arms around it. After spinning my wheels for a couple of days...feeling bad that I couldn't concentrate on my 'to do' list (which gets a whole lot longer this time of year for most of us)...I abandoned all attempt at trying to accomplish anything that I 'needed' to do and retreated to my sewing room. I grabbed the pink haired dolly that we are giving our granddaughter for Christmas and the sewing began! Here are some pictures of this therapy session!

Life goes on and my head is in a better place!

I'm so glad you got some "therapy" in last week. It looks like you did some wonderful things for the new dolly. And I'll bet you're dealing with your stressful news better now too. Sewing is wonderful therapy. Hope it's better now.
Yes sewing is great therapy.it helps me relax,,especially when I am sewing for someone else.It gets my mind off things and concentrate on the recipient.Very cute clothes and bag to carry them in!
Thank goodness for sewing therapy. Lucky granddaughter to have a talented grandma. Wishing you less stress, happy sewing, and many good days ahead.
how adorable~I am glad this therapy did the trick. big hugs to you. i don't know the journey you are going through, but know I am here if you need to talk! :)
Sewing is the BEST therapy. I would be in Looneyville by now without it. that is a cute doll and great bag for her.
What a cute idea for a doll bag! Your granddaughter will love it!
