Where has the month gone?

I am shocked that I just realized I haven't posted for a month.  I have written posts in my head but never got to the 'new post' page to actually publish my thoughts.  Does anyone else do that?  June has been a busy month with lots of family things and some construction on my house.  The contruction project was to take two weeks and let's just say, I hope it is done by the 4th of July.

Here is what my sewing room looks like right now.  It is awaiting new windows.  I cleared it out in May thinking the windows would be replaced in a couple days.

And here is how my bedroom looks.  I can't find anything when I try to sew.  It's a mess.  And yes, that is a quilt on my design wall!  I am trying to sew, at least.

Summer always seems to be a busy time with lots of outdoor activities to do. It seems a shame sometimes to come inside to use the computer. And of course it gets dark so much later that you run out of time.
Hope the work is soon finished.

I'm sitting here laughing while I read your post. Every time I'm at my machine or my cutting table, I am writing a blog post in my head! Maybe one out of every ten actually make it to my blog, especially this time of year!

I know what you mean. Blogging is difficult in the summer with family things going on. And sometimes I'm working on a project and don't want to stop, forgetting to show the progress. Oh Well.
The quilt on the bed is lovely :)

I can't wait to see more of your quilting room, the view must be wonderful and with all the construction and having things all over the place it is easy to see why you haven't posted in a while.

Hope your house returns to its normal order soon! Whenever my physical space gets disrupted, my mind feels a little out of sorts as well. Your blog will still be here waiting on you when things get back to normal!
