Test block...

There's been a big gap in my blogging and blog reading again.  I am still dating applications and checks with March instead of May.  Where does the time go?!?!  My blue and cream quilt is finally cut out.

I made a test block before I cut all the fabric this time.  I've made enough mistakes with past quilts to know I need to include that step before cutting all the fabric. Time to stop livin' on the edge...

That is a smart idea. Saves a lot of upset later.
The fabrics look lovely. Good luck!

I love the fabrics your chose for your quilt. I look forward to seeing your quilt come together.
Test blocks are a good idea. I should do this, too.

Love your blues and whites! A test block is necessary sometimes. It does save fabric from oopsies!

I know what you mean about time flying. Where the heck does it go?? I feel like I'm always behind - a day late and a dollar short!

That's a good idea. I never make a test block so therefore, my quilts often don't come out like I originally planned. I've become a master of making it work. lol
